RecoRail en infraestructura viaria española - RecoRail in Spanish Road Infrastructure

More Kilometers of RecoRail. More Kilometers of Change.

At Road Steel, we believe that road safety can also contribute to building a more sustainable future through the reuse of resources, especially plastic and steel, two of the most recycled materials in the world.

Through our barrier, Road Steel offers customers a solution that combines safety, sustainability, and excellent aesthetic integration into urban landscapes and green areas, thanks to the finish provided by recycled plastic.

What makes RecoRail different?

Manufactured from recycled polymer sourced from rejected plastic waste that would otherwise be incinerated, together with low-emission recycled steel, RecoRail represents a different way of approaching road infrastructure, not only from a safety perspective but also from the standpoint of circularity and environmental responsibility.

Its success is already a reality, with several projects in which it has played a leading role. The most recent is a new section on the RI-6 road connecting La Vega and Llamo, in Asturias, Spain, where integration with the surrounding landscape is especially important.

Each new installed section is an opportunity to transform waste into road infrastructure that protects people while respecting the environment.
