New Road Safety Solutions in Kayseri

Our international presence enables us to develop projects around the world. This June, we played a key role in creating safer roads through a project that combines product engineering, manufacturing, installation, and extends through to maintenance.

At Road Steel, through our four production facilities located in Spain, Colombia, Turkey, and Mexico, we are able to provide a comprehensive approach to road safety projects, covering everything from planning to maintenance. This enabled us to take on the challenge presented by the 6th Regional Directorate of Highways in Kayseri, Turkey.

The project required different road safety solutions to address the various needs of the roadway:

• 50 km of CPS02 H1, single-sided steel barriers.
• 1.5 km of CPS03 H2, double-sided steel barriers with a higher containment level.
• 1 km of CPS11 H2, high-strength bridge railings.
• 1 km of CPS07 bridge parapets.

At the same time, we carried out the repair of 32 km of existing guardrails that required maintenance in order to preserve the road safety standards of this important infrastructure upgrade.
